1. International Student Service (ISS)

-Location- 716 Langdon Street 217 Red Gym, Madison, Wisconsin, 53706

> International Student Services (ISS) is probably the BEST friend to numerous international students on campus! From applying period to eventually enrolling in this school, we international students could hardly go through all the process smoothly without ISS’s support. ISS not only grants the student visa but guides international students how to find on-campus or off-campus job positions. During this specific time, the ISS also updates COVID information and policy change regularly on its website and social media. As its name, ISS holds multiple events for international students, including Global Cafe and other social events. Moreover, ISS hosts the International Student Advising Board (ISAB) and the BRIDGE Peer Mentorship program. They both serve as great supporting power and cultural transition to those who are also new to this country.

> Whether you are a domestic or international student, check out the Multicultural Student Center (MSC)! You might probably not be able to travel around during the pandemic, but MSC brings multiple cultural activities and programs here. You can engage in these fun cultural things and gain exotic life experiences in these events. 3. Academic Advising Services (AAS)

-Location- L&S Academic Advising Services, 101 Ingraham Hall, 1155 Observatory Drive, Madison, WI. 53706

> Next, the Academic Advising Services (AAS) empowers students in the College of Letters and Science to find out their focus fields in college and conquer every challenge they might encounter along the way. During SOAR, students have already met with their soar advisor and peer advisor for degree and course selection. It is truly a reassurance to the freshmen who are overwhelmed by loads of new information he/she/they should know about this school. After that, in the following semesters, one could seek advising for major declaration, future course enrolling plan, and graduation prepping by making appointments in Starfish, myUW or simply going for a drop-in. The advisors are extremely kind and ready to help, and, as a reminder, this is also their job to make sure you have a clear understanding of what your college life might appear to be.

Seize the opportunity to make the best of your (costly) tuition!

4. University Health Services (UHS)

-Location- 333 East Campus Mall, Madison

Unfortunately, the pandemic messes up our wonderful college experience. It is a difficult time, and we hope everyone and their family all stay well. University Health Services (UHS) is the resource you can, and SHOULD, utilize while not feeling well around the campus. It provides general health care, such as physical and mental illness. There is also a 24-hour helpline to report crises or seek emergency medical advice and treatment. Don’t worry about the costs- the majority of the services are covered by the tuition and Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). Most importantly, UHS is one of the places where you can get free flu shots and the COVID vaccines. Your health is always the top priority of all the other things in your life.
